Salesforce Loyalty Management has an out of the box “Reverse Transaction” process to claw back the points that were given out should a purchased product is returned. If the original points had been added to the escrow, these point are removed from there. If escrow is not being used, the points will be removed thier current point total. If the member were to have been moved tiers (i.e. from silver tier to gold tier and recieved New benefits because of this tier upgrade) because of this original purchase, the member’s tier change can be reversed and any New benifits that were awarded can be reversed as-well if desired.
