Loyalty Management supports qualifying points and non-qualifying points as currency options that you can incorporate into your program structure. Qualifying points measure a member’s level of engagement in a loyalty program and help assess a member’s tier for upgrade or downgrade. Non-qualifying points are points that members earn for their loyalty program-related activities, which they can redeem for rewards. Non-qualifying points can use fixed or activity expiration models. With fixed expiration, each non-qualifying point in a member’s balance expires after a fixed period. In an activity expiration model, the member’s non-qualifying points balance expires if there is no member activity for a specified duration.
